CloudPod
CloudPod™ Sensor
The CloudPod sensor is a rugged miniaturized ceilometer that measures cloud ceiling height. The small size (7' X 9.5' X 9.5') and weight (12lbs including batteries) make it ideal for rapid deployment in remote locations where terrain or lack of infrastructure prohibit traditional instrumentation.

With optional satellite communications module (SatPod™), the system provides data access and commanding conveniently from anywhere in the world. The CloudPod is one of several of the modular environmental sensors of ADSSs SensorPod Network. The sensor can be deployed individually or in conjunction with other sensors; generating a complete picture of the environmental conditions of any area of interest.

The system is an ideal solution for users who wish to know cloud ceiling information without the complicated set-up and expense of traditional LIDAR systems. Simply place the CloudPod on a level surface, turn it on, and walk away. It will configure and network automatically providing users with data with almost no effort or training. Allows worldwide remote data access and control via Mission Control Software at user location or in field.
